SHIFT started because I needed it.

I’m someone who makes great financial plans… and then completely forgets them when I’m stressed, overwhelmed, tired, or just looking for a little dopamine. I’ve made emotional purchases, spontaneous decisions, and “I’ll fix it later” choices more times than I can count — and then had to go back and clean it up in a budgeting app afterward.

That’s when it clicked:
Why are we only managing money after we’ve already spent it?

SHIFT was built to step in before the purchase — to create a pause, a breath, and a moment of intention. Not to shame you. Not to restrict you. Just to give you the space to decide whether this choice actually supports the life you’re trying to build.

I’m not here to tell anyone they’re bad with money. I’m proof that smart, capable people still make impulsive decisions — especially when life is busy or emotions are high. SHIFT is designed for real humans with real brains and real lives.

This app isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness.
It’s about redirecting money when it makes sense — and giving yourself grace when it doesn’t.
